Questions

When is Orzo coming?

Soon, for iPhone and Android at the same time. We’re getting ready to launch.

How much does Orzo cost?

Cookbook, cook mode, shopping list and pantry are free. Orzo Plus brings the otter and the weekly plan. You see the price in the app before you commit to anything. A subscription covers the whole household, and anyone who is invited pays nothing.

Do I have to log what I use up?

No. If you cook with Orzo, it subtracts what you used by itself. A photo of your fridge, cupboard or freezer matches the shelf, and the receipt adds what you bought.

Can my family or roommates join in?

Yes. Invite up to five people to your household, and you share the pantry and shopping list, and everyone sees right away what’s already bought.

Does Orzo suit my diet?

Tell Orzo at the start how you eat, such as vegetarian, vegan or halal, and what you can’t have. Its suggestions follow that, and you can change it at any time.

Does Orzo show calories?

Yes, every recipe has calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat per serving, calculated from the ingredients. But Orzo isn’t a calorie counter with a daily budget. It’s a cooking app.

Do I need a kitchen machine?

No. Every recipe works with a stove and oven. If you have a kitchen machine with a cooking function, Orzo shows its own steps for it on suitable recipes.

Can I save recipes from TikTok or Instagram?

Yes. Share a TikTok video with Orzo, or the caption or a screenshot from Instagram. Orzo turns it into a recipe with ingredients and steps in your cookbook.
